80s Babies is a collaborative conceptual interior design project created by six designers working remotely across different countries. Set within the historic Nate Starkman Building in Los Angeles, the project reimagines a former industrial warehouse as the private residence of a fashion-obsessed collector whose lifestyle is deeply inspired by the energy, color, and culture of the 1980s.

The design embraces the decade's unmistakable visual language through neon lighting, vibrant color palettes, geometric forms, and playful materials. Rather than functioning as a conventional home, the loft is imagined as an extension of its owner's personality, where living spaces blur with curated displays of fashion, memorabilia, and self-expression. A dedicated walk-in wardrobe becomes a centerpiece of the home, celebrating clothing and style as part of everyday life.

While rooted in nostalgia, the project was ultimately an exercise in creative freedom and collaboration. Each designer contributed their own interpretation of the era, resulting in an environment that captures the optimism, individuality, and larger-than-life spirit that made the 1980s so memorable.
